Pre Apprenticeship Courses

Our purpose at My Trade Start, is to increase the knowledge and skill level of our students, with the aim of preparing them to successfully find an apprenticeship in the Automotive Industry.

We recruit, vet and prepare students for a positive start in the industry. We also assist in finding them jobs and helping them in all facets of their apprenticeship journey. We partner with employers all over NSW.

All training delivered by My Trade Start is Nationally Recognised.

The course offered by My Trade will be free of charge for all students.

Pre-Apprenticeship courses are a great way for you to try out an industry and gain some useful skills in the process before you start an apprenticeship or traineeship.

My Trade Start offers Pre-Apprenticeship courses under Smart & Skilled Targeted Priorities Pre-Apprenticeship Program to eligible students between the ages of 15-24.

By attending and completing a Pre-Apprenticeship course, you are gaining an advantage over those that haven’t and in turn you are making yourself desirable to prospective employers wanting to take on a 1st year apprentice.

You also get a head start on your apprenticeship with industry skills knowledge gained as a result of attending a Pre-Apprenticeship.
